Robert D. Bailey, 69 of CarthageRobert D. Bailey, 69, 21958 Wrape Rd., died Friday evening, March 15, 2013 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where he had been a patient for a short time. Born in on September 23, 1943 in Rutland, the son of Malcolm John & Elizabeth Hall Bailey. Mr. Bailey was self-employed as a locksmith. He had a great interest in computers and coin collecting. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He is survived by his son and daughter in laws, Timothy & Judy Bailey, Sr., Carthage, Ronald & Stephanie Bailey, North Carolina and Randy & Toni Bailey, Carthage and his daughter, Tracy Bailey, North Carolina. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a sister. A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring in Hillside Cemetery, Champion. Arrangements are being handled by the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage.
