Lowville -  Robert T. Kelley, 52, of Shady Avenue, affectionately known as “Corn,” died Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in Lowville Rural Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Carrara, Pastor of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

He is survived by his companion, Lucinda “Cindy” Overton; 11 brothers and sisters and their spouses, John P. and Mary Kelley of Martinsburg, Kathleen Davis and her companion Cork Bartlett of Theresa, David F. Kelley of Lowville, Sue Ellen Kelley of Carthage, Diane and Patrick Reape of Plant City, Florida, Teresa and Christopher Clark of Lowville, Donald G. “Bill” Kelley of Lowville, Michael J. and Windy Kelley of Thendara, Lori and Steven Wilcox of Dexter, Peter J. and Lisa Kelley of Lowville, Jodine and Mack Ford of Vine Grove, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Jeanne Marie Kelley who died in 1965.

Bob was born on February 18, 1961 in Lowville, NY, a son of the late Francis “Pete” and Norma Kentner Kelley. He attended St. Peter’s Catholic School and Lowville Academy. He worked on the family farm for his brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Kelley, all of his adult life. Most recently, he was working for Hilltop Farms in Martinsburg.

He was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lowville. Bob played pool with the Lewis County Billiard League, and enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and enjoyed snowmobiling and four-wheeling. He lived at home all of his life, and took care of things around the house for his parents.
