RoseAnn Mack, 61, Town of RutlandRoseAnn Mack, 61, of 27236 Middle Road, Route 160, died April 25, 2012 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
The funeral service will be Noon Monday, April 30th at the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Town of Rutland. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday April 29th at the funeral home. Born on June 7, 1950 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Martin and Rose Wolf Horeth, she graduated from WHS in 1968. She then attended the nursing program at Canton College. She married Joseph W Mack on December 18, 1971 in Felts Mills where the couple resided until moving to the Town of Rutland in 1987. Mr. Mack retired from St. Regis Paper Co., he passed February 18, 2001. Mrs. Mack worked at St. Regis Paper Co., Greenbrier Nursing Home in Carthage, she cared for her mother for several years before going to work at Hill's Department Store in 1986. She was a department manager up until 1996 when she retired due to disability. She enjoyed doing bead crafts,was an avid Yankees fan, loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to the family camp. Among her survivors are two sons Joseph W. Mack Jr. and his companion, Carrie E. Lago, Rutland, George G. and Tammy L. House, Rutland; a daughter and son in law, Teresa A. and John Sheldon, Copenhagen; a stepson, Stephen J. Mack, Ithica, NY; a stepdaughter, Tammy A. Hornsby, Watertown; a brother and sister in law, Martin and Dawn Horeth, Felts Mills; a sister and brother in law, Geanne and Charles Mack, Rutland; several grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
