Funeral services for Sheila Willard, age 67, of 683 East Road, Heuvelton
will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:30a.m. at Frary Funeral
Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Purmort Cemetery in DePeyster in the spring.
Calling hours will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Willard passed away Friday morning, January 18, 2013 at Claxton-Hepburn Hospital.
Mrs. Willard is survived by her loving husband, James; her mother, Thelma
Morehouse; four sons, Clark and Tina Willard of Ogdensburg, Mark Willard of
Heuvelton, Chris and Amy Willard of Parishville and James Willard, Jr. of
Syracuse; two daughters, Peggy Willard of Tennessee and Arleena and her
husband Tom McDougal of Ogdensburg and three sisters; Mary Tomlin of North
Carolina, Patricia Pulver of Virgina and Sunday Lockenwitz of Sharon
She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Sheila was predeceased by a brother, John Morehouse, and her sister, Melody, at infancy as well as her father Raymond.
Sheila was born on December 5, 1945, the daughter of Raymond and Thelma
Elliot Morehouse. She attended school and graduated from Gouverneur
Central School. On December 24, 1965 she married James Willard at the
Methodist Church in Ogdensburg with Rev. Kendall Scouter officiating.
She first went to work with United Helpers as a CNA and later was a home health care provider for Raymond Geary. She also drove tractor trailer with her husband.
Sheila enjoyed bingo and playing slot machines in her spare time.
