Sue Ann Grant, 77, of PotsdamSue Ann Grant, age 77 of Potsdam, NY passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her residence in the village of Potsdam. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8th at 6 pm at the Garner Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Christopher Brown celebrant. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Friday from 3-6 pm. Burial will take place in the spring at the Bayside Cemetery. Contributions in her memory can be made to the charity of ones choice. Sue is survived by her four sons, James (Cindy) Grant, Craig Grant, Kevin (Robyn) Grant and Scott (Lori) Grant; a daughter Vikie (Scott) Jones; grandchildren James Jr. (Lori), Matt, Danny, Brittany, and Brook Grant; great grandchildren Jayden and Reese Grant and Lillianna Murray; a sister, Nancy (Smith) Warren; a brother, David Kennedy, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Alexander G. Grant, who passed on December 25, 2011. Sue Ann Grant was born on March 16, 1935 in Potsdam, NY to the late Roy Kennedy and Muriel Root. She was a 1953 graduate of Potsdam Central High School. On April 14, 1956 at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Potsdam, NY she was married to Alexander G. Grant with Rev. Travis officiating. She was a homemaker raising her five children. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Potsdam.
