GOUVERNEUR – Ms. Terry L. Taylor, age 62, of Gouverneur, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 at her home.
Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur on Saturday, May 12th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. followed by her funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with lay minister Art Zeher officiating. Burial will follow in the South Colton Cemetery.
Terry was born on August 3, 1949 in Constable, NY to the late Byron and Dorothy (Reed) Taylor. She has lived in Gouverneur since April of 2010, having spent many years in Buffalo.
Terry’s favorite pastime was looking for that winning scratch-off lottery ticket. She collected owl related items and crocheted more items than you could count. She was a faithful Yankee fan who enjoyed watching their games as well as college basketball. Her favorite wrestler was Hornswoggle.
Her survivors include her sister Deena Folsom of Gouverneur; three brothers, Albert Taylor of Watertown, Tony Taylor of Gouverneur, Thomas Taylor of Redwood; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
