Timothy David Kuhrtz, 48, passed away Saturday morning, March 16, 2013 under the care of Lewis County Hospice, at the home of his caregiver, Kim Long, of Fulton Street, Lyons Falls.

A prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 23, 2013 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville with Mother Linda Logan, officiating.  A calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the prayer service, at the funeral home.  A gathering at the Milk Plant Tavern, West Leyden, will follow the prayer service.

Tim is survived by two sisters, Michelle Weiss of Boonville; Teresa Platt of Pennsylvania; many aunts, uncles, nieces, Alexa Platt, Olivia Weiss; nephews, Austin and Connor Weiss, and many, many cousins.  He is also survived by a good friend Jon Roy; a special friend and caregiver, Kim Long and her son, A.J.

  He is predeceased by his mother.

Tim was born on December 24, 1964 in Utica, NY, a son of the late Gail Ann Platt.  He attended Syracuse University and was a self-employed Graphic Arts Designer.

He enjoyed building lawn furniture.

Tim was such a fun loving guy, who ALWAYS put everybody’s happiness before his own.
