November 3 ~ Cape Vincent Improvement League, Postponed until November 10, The Cape Vincent Improvement League meeting in November will be postponed until Tuesday, November 10 due to election day. The rescheduled meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at the Community House.
November 4 ~ THE CAPE VINCENT FOOD PANTRY is Open on the first WEDNESDAY of the month, November 4, from 4 pm until 5 pm. Go to the Blue door at the rear of the drive at the United Church on Broadway. If you have never received help but are finding it tough to get by, please call and we can provide you with the information needed to see if your household would qualify. ~~ No appointment is necessary if you come during the open hours. If that time is not good for you but you could use the help please call for a convenient appointment. Times are getting tough, and there seems to be no end in sight! If the food pantry can help make it a little easier for you, please come or call 654-3885 or 654-4083.

Bring a small dish to share, table service and a $1 donation for a beverage.
November 22 ~ The Rosiere Council of the Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning November 22, beginning at 8 AM at the Town of Cape Vincent Recreation Park Building on James Street in the Village of Cape Vincent. The breakfast will be held to benefit the many community activities committed to by the K of C.

November 26 ~ 2009 Cape Vincent Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner
The fourth annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Cape Vincent residents will be held on Thursday, November 26th at St Vincent of Paul Church at 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required. This wonderful holiday dinner was put together by and for those without extended family here in the North Country. We would like to extend a special invitation to those stationed at Ft. Drum and residing in Cape Vincent. Through the generosity of the Cape Vincent community and our volunteers, there is no charge for this event. Rides will be provided for those who need them and meals will be delivered to those shut in and unable to attend. If you would like to donate a pie, volunteer your services, join the committee or donate toward the cost of the dinner (Donations may be directed to the Community Wide Thanksgiving Account Cape Vincent branch of the Citizens Bank of Cape Vincent), we warmly welcome your involvement. To make reservations, volunteer your services, or for more information, please phone Sam De Long at 654-8166. Reservations must be made by Friday, November 20th.
There will be TWO Live Music events at Aubrey’s Inn during November. On Friday November 20th at 9 pm enjoy Doug McKenzie and Mark Mason will play on Saturday November 28th at 9 pm.
Seasonal residents of the Village of Cape Vincent who wish to have the police department make periodic checks of their property over the winter can pick up a form at the Village Clerk's office or contact the police Department. The police department will also e-mail or fax a form if requested. The police can be contacted at 654-3400 or e-mail capevincentpolice@tds.net.
