A Jamboree to benefit Elizabeth (Peggy) McDermidEvent DetailsDate: March 14, 2010 Time: 1-6PM Location: West Potsdam Fire Hall (Blanchard Road) Event DescriptionA Jamboree has been planned for Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the West Potsdam Fire Hall (Blanchard Road) to benefit Elizabeth (Peggy) McDermid. Peggy was referred to the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio as a possible candidate for a Robotic Valve Replacement procedure that has not yet been approved by the FDA in the United States. While she was in Cleveland undergoing testing to determine if she was an acceptable candidate for this surgery, a brain aneurysm was discovered which required immediate brain surgery. The brain surgery was successful and after recovery she returned to Cleveland for the Heart Valve Replacement. Peggy was one of the few chosen and is the youngest person in the United States to undergo this procedure and it was completed successfully. She is now recovering at her home. Please join us for a fun filled afternoon. There will be door prizes, 50/50 and live bands, featuring past New York State Fiddle Champion, Donald Woodcock. An account has also been opened for Peggy’s benefit at Community Bank in Canton. Hope to see you, SUNDAY, MARCH 14, 2010 FROM 1:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. AT THE WEST POTSDAM FIRE HALL |
