 This weekend: October 23 & 24 at 7:00PM

 The Drama Club presents

 Noises Off

 By Michael Frayn

About the show: Lloyd Fellowes is the director of a theatre company. He's desperately trying to get his production together, despite the best efforts of the cast, the crew, and Lady Luck. We follow the production from final rehearsals, through opening night, and onto the tour: as with any group of actors forced to work closely together for any great length of time, romances and arguments are bound to break out. Quite often, what's happening on stage is nothing compared to what's happening backstage.

This show is a complete hoot! I loved the movie adaptation with Carol Burnett and Christopher Reeve and the late great John Ritter. Check out this show, you will be entertained.

Set in ancient Egypt, Aida is both a heartbreaking love story and an epic drama full of spectacular crowd scenes. A cast of powerful voices and a grand production bring the story to life. Violeta Urmana stars in the title role of the enslaved Ethiopian princess, with Dolora Zajick as her rival. Johan Botha plays Radamès, commander of the Egyptian army, and Daniele Gatti conducts.

3 hours, 55 minutes; 2 intermissions (YIKES)!

Opera separates the men from the boys and the women from the girls for sure!

\As You Like It follows the lively exploits of banished Rosalind and her quest for true love amid the schemes of two warring brothers.  In the idyllic Forest of Arden, Rosalind, disguised as a gentleman farmer, stumbles upon an extraordinary assemblage of characters, including a fool, a malcontent traveler, her own exiled father, and the cast out young man she loves. Astutely funny, As You Like It runs the gamut of the comedic canon, combining cross-dressing and slapstick with gentle satire and sparkling, witty conversation.

With the added twist of a modern day setting, the Le Moyne College production of As You Like It will be under the direction of Steven Braddock.   Scenery and lights will be designed by Karel Blakeley and costumes designed by Meggan Camp.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $4 for students and the Le Moyne community.

For additional information and ticket reservations, please call the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts

At a large, tasteful townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
