American Idol Recap

Okay, admittedly, I didn’t watch the entire show last night.  Forgive me, it’s January and there is no Paula.  It’s too early for stakes to be high. I do have a life, a small one, but one nevertheless. I will say that Mary J. Blige is a fantastic artist, but her judging was lackadaisical and she obviously hates country music, but she needs to be open to all music genres.  Still she was a zillion times better than Spice Witch turned American celebrity.  However, the empress of Soul should stick to singing and not judging.

So Simon is flying the coop later this year after this season.  Oh boy, what is Idol going to do now? First Paula and now Simon?  Let’s think randomly and wildly about possible new American Idol judges.

Jerry Springer? (slapping allowed)

Sarah Palin? (you betcha that sucked)

Martha Stewart (no one will be good enough)

Dan Rather (Shucks that was better than a corn dog at the Iowa State Fair)

Tiger Woods (I’m going to need to see that again, naked)

Pee-Wee Herman (I know you are, but what am I?)

Bill Clinton (I did not have sexual relations with that contestant!)

George W. Bush (I am the decider)

Anyway, as the season pushes on, look for me on air talking about Idol and possibly an American Idol merchandise giveaway.  Also, coming up next week a new American Idol, Craig’s To Do’s List photograph, on our brand new AI (fake) set!

In the meantime, here are some fun recap websites for last night’s show.
