This week's Academic All-Star is Elspeth Chapman.

She is from Hammond Central School, where she's ranked first in her class and maintains at 98.72 grade point average.

Elspeth participates in extra-curricular activities, including cheerleading, Science Club and National Honor Society.

She has applied to a number of competitive colleges like Princeton, Northeastern, Brown and Yale universities.

Elspeth is considering careers in the economic or public/foreign policy areas.
