This week's Academic All-Star is Mari Zacharek.

She is from Edwards-Knox Central School, where she's ranked first in her class and maintains a grade point average of 96.
 
Mari has served as class treasurer during her four years of high school.

She's also involved in yearbook and BUDDIES, a peer mentoring program.
 
Mari plans to attend St. Lawrence University and hopes to be an author someday.
