This week's Academic All-Star is Benjamin Schermerhorn.

He is from Gouverneur Central School, where he's ranked first in his class and maintains a grade point average of 99.
 
Ben is a member of the orchestra, student senate, math club, Future Farmers of America and National Honor Society.

He plans to attend SUNY Potsdam on a full scholarship.

Ben hopes to be a high school teacher someday.
