The New York State United Teachers - Academic All-Star for the week of May 8 is from Canton Central School.

Jennifer Lomaki is currently ranked first in his class with a grade point average of 97 percent.

She's involved in numerous activities, including track, soccer and student council.

Jennifer plans to attend SUNY Geneseo and major in physics.
