Academic All-Star: Shayla Williams

The New York State United Teachers - Academic All-Star for the week of June 12 is from Colton-Pierrepont Central School.

Shayla Williams is first in her class and has a grade point average of 97.

She's involved in a number of extra-curricular activities, including band, track and her school's environmental club.

Shayla plans to study the environment at Colby College in Maine.
