Academic All-Star: Sydney O'Shaughnessy

This week's Jefferson Community College - 7 News Academic All-Star is from Copenhagen Central School.

Sydney O'Shaughnessy is currently ranked second in her class.

She's involved in numerous extra-curricular activities including varsity tennis, yearbook and National Honor Society.

Sydney is also a volunteer firefighter with the West Carthage Fire Department.

She hopes to attend Ithaca College and study journalism.
