TV Dinner: Beer-Jerked Chicken

Two tastes that work well together: beer-jerked chicken and wine slushies made with Coyote Moon's Fire Boat White.

Recipes follow:

Beer-Jerked Chicken

- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 1/2 cup beer (any brand)
- 2 to 3 pounds chicken (any cut)

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a food processor and pulse until smooth.

Pour over chicken and marinate overnight before grilling.

Pairs well with Coyote Moon wine slushie (see below).


Fire Boat White Slushie

- 1 bottle Fire Boat White
- 64 ounces orange punch

Combine ingredients in stainless steel bowl. Place bowl in freezer or pour mixture into recloseable plastic bags and freeze.

Mix occasionally. Takes about three hours to turn into slushie.
