TV Dinner: Drunken Pasta

Chef Chris Manning does something a little different with pasta.

It's called drunken pasta, because it's cooked in wine.

Drunken Pasta

- 1 bottle Coyote Moon Vineyard's Casa Papa Red
- 1 pint (16 ounces) water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound Casa Papa linguine

Bring the wine and water to a boil. Add the salt and pasta and cook al dente, about 8 minutes

Strain the pasta, but do not rinse. Toss with olive oil, bacon bits, garlic and freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. You can also add things like bacon or Italian sausage and red pepper flakes.

Good served with more Casa Papa Red.
