TV Dinner: Fra Diavlo
Chef Chris Manning prepared Fra Diavlo on 7 News This Morning Friday. Literally, it means "the devil's brother." For your taste buds, it's a spicy treat.
Despite the name, it's a perfectly appropriate meal for the Lenten season when made with sea food. Chef Manning brought shrimp and scallops to the table Friday morning, though you can use chicken or pork as well.

The chef's instructions:
"In a four quart sauce pan over medium heat, add the first eight ingredients. Cook until the onion begins to wilt. Add the wine and tomatoes. Turn the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the pasta and simmer 2-3 minutes. Add the cheese and toss to coat. Serve garnished with broiled shrimp, scallops or grilled chicken."
