Port Chops Alla Portofino

4 4-ounce center-cut pork chops
Quarter cup all-purpose flour
Quarter cup grated parmesan cheese
Quarter cup plain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
Quarter cup diced green bell pepper
Quarter cup quartered artichoke hearts
Quarter cup diced onion
Quarter cup diced fresh tomatoes
Quarter cup sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
Half cup dry red wine
4 tablespoons brown gravy

Mix together the flour, cheese, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Dredge the pork chops in the flour mixture. Heat the oil and butter in a 14-inch saute pan on medium-high heat.

Saute the chops for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until they're golden in color and cooked through. Remove meat to a serving platter.

Add the onions, peppers and mushrooms to the pan and cook until onions begin to wilt. Add the garlic, tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Cook for one minute, then add the wine.

Cook until wine is reduced by half, then add the gravy. Stir sauce to thicken and spoon over the chops.
