Saint Lawrence County Arts Council Does it Again-

Wednesdays | July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 | 11a-1p

For Ages 13-17

With Instructors Kirk Jones & Jason Hubbard

Local writer Kirk Jones will help students to compose characters, stories, and scripts for their own comic books, and local art teacher Jason Hubbard will help students to bring their ideas to life through storyboards and original design and artwork. Examples from published graphic novels and comics will be provided as models for artistic inspiration as students create at their own pace.

Students can explore any genre or style they wish, and focus in on the skills they hope to hone in this flexible course on the craft of comics.

Please bring a notebook, sketchbook, pencils, and a couple of fine tipped Sharpie markers for ink work. Students may bring snacks or food with them to class if they choose.
