A Legend - Mickey Rooney

By Craig Thornton

Mickey Rooney who was a one time giant at the box office, despite his diminutive height has died at 93.

Rooney was the biggest box office star three years in a row, 1939, 1940 and 1941.

This was during a time when many more millions of people were going to the movies daily.  No one living at this time hadn’t heard of him or hadn’t seen one of his movies.

At five feet two or three, Rooney was proof positive that women love the guys who can make him life as he was married eight times and fathered nine children.
