American Idol Recap – I am a slacker

Due to a technical difficulty last night’s episode of American Idol wasn’t recorded properly and I had to watch it without sound. Sometimes this was a good thing, for example when I didn’t want to hear Randy Jackson say Dawg three thousand times. Also sometimes it just looked like someone was singing bad; too many hand movements, mouth opened too wide, facial expression indicating “Oh s*#% I forgot the lyrics.”

Despite the silent treatment I got last night, Heejun and DeAndre again looked like they shrieked and preened through their performances. DeAndre’s hair did look better, but here’s hoping at least one of them is in the bottom three, after last week’s episode where only women were in the bottom three.

In an effort to keep my readers informed, I am recommending the following recaps, where the writer was actually privy to sound.

Imagine hearing someone sing on American Idol!
