North Country native Philip Ashwood will have several examples of his photographic talents on display at Arts On The Square in Downtown Watertown beginning February 12th with a reception for his showing on February 21st from 6 until 8pm.

Mr. Ashwood has always been drawn to nature and it's beauty and form, an interest that developed as a young child and was fostered into more than a hobby but a passion to capture natural landscapes and surroundings in an incredibly unique way. Mr. Ashwood has a degree in photojournalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School in Syracuse.

The North Country Arts Council is proud to have the opportunity to share Mr. Ashwood’s beautiful work with the community and invites the public to attend the reception held at Arts On The Square on February 21st from 6 until 8pm. Work by Mr. Ashwood is on display and for sale in the gallery at Arts On The Square through the end of March.

The North Country Arts Council seeks to enrich the lives of those in our community through art in all of its forms. The gallery at 52 Public Square in Downtown Watertown is open Wednesday through Friday from 11am until 6pm, and on Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
