The St. Lawrence County Arts Council (SLC Arts) invites their members, friends, and community members to a special event to celebrate local contemporary artists and the Arts in the North Country.

“Art Jam Up North” on Saturday, February 8 at 7:00 pm will be held above Between the Buns restaurant at 6 Elm Street. The evening includes dessert, a cash bar, and live music by local musicians including Michael Welch and Christian Parker, Michael Magilligan and Allan Cox, Camilla Ammirati of The Don’t Tell Darlings, and the TAM-ettes from The Any Music Singers.

Tracy S. Wanamaker will receive an Arts Recognition Award from SLC Arts, and the recipients of 2014 NYSCA re-grant funding will be announced. To top off the evening, gifts donated by local artists and businesses will be auctioned off, including pottery, jewelry, and theater tickets.
