I just can’t seem to find my American Idol mojo this year. I still love J-Lo, and still think Steven Tyler is whacked and unpredictable and still cannot stand Randy J – well that isn’t entirely true, I can stand him now, the key word is “can” – but I chose not to.

Last night’s performance show was lacking of good performances. Whenever the judges lauded over a performance, for example, Elise, I was often thinking, huh? Although we did agree that Heejun should be HeGONE.   I can’t stand Deandre Brackensack. When I was watching him last night I kept thinking two things. The hair has to got to go and the word Deandre looks a lot like the French word for Turkey – dinde.
 
There is a lot of disagreement and discourse on American Idol this year. Every Time a judge says a performance isn’t perfect and they don’t canonize the singer, which is most of the time, the audience boos and hisses. The coddling of the contestants by the audience seems to be increasing with every season. Last year the heckling audience seemed to bother J-Lo, Steve T and RJ a lot more, but this year they are doing a much better job at ignoring them. They keep on talking right over the bad judgment and Face Book enabling of incompetency of the audience.
 
So far, it seems like the women have a bit of an advantage over the men in talent, but this doesn’t necessarily translate to staying power, as the voters have their own agenda.
 
Despite this it is difficult to not get excited at the end of the results show when the editing and music hype it all up and you just cannot wait to find out whose dreams have been suddenly crushed.

The show it going to have to get real, and now that the whole world can vote on line it's no longer American Idol.. That's O K We still have the Voice.

you and eye ....That was for a reason Yes it should be Ear and Your.. Heejun should not be it the top 24 as well. Just overlook it, THEY HAVE OVER LOOKED EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE SHOW. Now who doing Let's stay together, yes it was Al Green In 1972 and it was a #1 hit that year so why did that girl ( and the president) get to do it?? She was born in 1983??? The show is on the ropes. They are going to have to get on track soon or they will drop in the ratings fast.

i think Steven Tyler looks angry lately. Not happy like he was in the auditions. Wonder if it's because of J Lo? I've heard she want all the attention.

Adding the correct judges to save the show will lose it's effect if they don't soon get real with the votes and songs they sing on the show. Randy said a great singer could sing the phone book. Heejun can't read it and he is still there, no way. I agree with the Don Ho song. He could nail it. I feel for the guy but it is American Idol Not "China Idol" Better singers left in the top 24 in fact I've seen better in local schools and Churches. Come on' Next time Shut you eyes when he sings and you will hear what any trained eye already knows..... What's up with that??????

Heejun still being on the show makes it no longer a legit program. He sound like Don Ho. Maybe for his next performance he could do "Tiny Bubbles" Watch the Voice..At least compitent people are making the calls. And Al Green releases the song "Let's Stay Together" in !972.. it went to #1 and was the title cut. The whole show missed that. WOW!!! Anythiong goes..

Heejun Han is evidence that the show is a set up, accent way to strong in every song,,,," American Idol" and why do we need the president on there..Al Green released Let's Stay Together in 1972 not Marvin Gaye in 1983. The fact is the rules are being made up as they go. Now they have one save for the judges? That's whay the Voice is beating them. That Sanchez girl was way off and still she never hit the bottom three. The show is going to find itself left with nougthing but Sheep a veiwers and maybe that's the point?
