The question remains, who will watch the finale of American Idol tonight, Thursday, May 16th ? Even though the two remaining singers are phenomenally talented, American Idol has seen its lowest ratings this season of any season so far. Just because AI is losing its grip on the number one ratings spot, slowly, but steadily, doesn’t mean that Kree and Candice shouldn’t be applauded for their incredible performances last night (Wednesday).

Personally, I suddenly find myself in a dilemma. I have loved Kree for so long and have wanted her to win for so long, that I can’t possibly change my mind after Candice’s performance last night, can I? Well I haven’t, but Candice’s “I have nothing” was spectacular, and I agree with Randy’s incredibly accurate, well thought out comment, “That girl, can plumb flat out sing.” Where is the Dawg in that sentence? Could it be “Dawg, listen up, That girl can plumb flat out sing,” or is it “That girl, can plumb flat out sing, Dawg.”   It is clear at this point, after the third performance from each finalist that the judges are leaning, and hoping it will be Candice who will win-however Kree was incredible and kept up with her for sure. It will be great to see either fantastic singer win.   More importantly than who will win American Idol is the question if Nicki Minaj will return as a judge next year? I recently heard from an inside source that Ms. Minaj is considered a royal pain to work with, and being nice and polite to co-workers and staff isn’t a priority and photographers describe her simply as “mean.” I feel vindicated, as I have loathed her from day one.   Tomorrow at this time, we will know our winner!
