Remington Festival Art Show & Sale

- Hide Guidelines

Saturday, October 5, 2013

The Village of Canton and the St. Lawrence County Arts Council work together to present the Art Show & Sale as part of the Remington Arts Festival. Artists who create high quality art and fine crafts are invited to apply for booth space in this juried show. This is a wonderful opportunity to show and sell your work to the Canton community and visitors from around the region. The Festival includes a variety of musical and historical programs, and coincides with Family Weekend at St. Lawrence University.

Booth spaces are  12' x 12' outdoors on the Village Green in Canton. Slightly smaller/ irregular spaces are also available indoors. In inclement weather, all artists’ booths may be shifted indoors.

Artists must supply their own display equipment, tables, chairs, etc. Tables should be covered to the ground. Tents or canopies are encouraged, but not required. Set up begins at 7:00am.  The show is officially open from 10:00am - 4:00pm, but artists may stay longer if they wish. All items on display and for sale must be original work or reproductions from the artist's original designs.

*Only SLC Arts members may participate. If you are not yet a member of the SLC Arts Council, just call or email us for a membership form or join online by visiting our website: www.slcartscouncil.org. We hope you will be part of this “celebration of art excellence in the North Country”.  Please call or e-mail us if you have any questions or suggestions.  If you do not plan to participate, please pass this invitation along to other artists!

Booth Fee: $45.00 & SLC Arts Membership
