Cinema 10 is back tonight in Potsdam

By Craig Thornton

Cinema 10 will screen Weekend  on Monday, April 16.

Cinema 10 screens Weekend on Monday, April 16 at the Roxy Theater in Potsdam.  Show time is 7:15 PM. This is the eighth screening of the spring Cinema 10 season.

“One of the truest, most beautiful movies ever made about two strangers” (Wesley Morris, The Boston Globe), Weekend moves from a one night stand when Russell picks up Glen, to gentle reflections on what we share of ourselves with others and what we accept of them. With beautifully presented and deeply developed characters, Weekend will keep you under the spell of this “smart, sensitive, perceptive film” (Roger Ebert, The Chicago Sun-Times.)

Weekend is directed by Andrew Haigh. This movie is unrated with sex, some nudity, profanity, drug use, and bigotry. It runs 97 minutes and is in English.

General Admission: $4.50/individual; $35/season

Students and Senior Citizens: $3.50/individual; $25/season
