From her network debut on "The Late Show with David Letterman" to Comedy Central and Comics Unleashed, headlining comedian KAREN RONTOWSKI's show is getting great reviews!
David Brenner says, “Even if you can't spell Karen Rontowski, you'd better remember it, because she is GREAT!”
Karen Rontowski’s upbeat, optimistic and clean sense of humor has earned her headlining spots all over the world. She has also opened for such show biz legends as Bob Hope, Ray Charles and the Monkees. Karen’s real touring trips (not the ones in her head) include the United States, Canada, Japan, Greenland and all over Europe. She has also entertained the troops! A television favorite, you may have seen this hilarious woman on Comedy Central, Live at Gotham and Comics Unleashed. A regular on the Bob and Tom Radio Show, Karen keeps listeners laughing not only with her stand up, but also when she talks about her other career as a paranormal investigator. She can also be seen in the movie shorts Return to Sender and Some Kind of Joke.
Also on the show and a headliner, ERIC DESKIN is a stand-up comic, actor and native New Yorker who performs regularly at comedy clubs, colleges and other venues throughout New York City and the country. He has opened for the late Ray Charles.
Back Stage has described his comedy as edgy, observant and funny . . . the sort of brainy observations you wish you'd thought of (and will probably borrow to use in the future).
Recent acting appearances include "Rescue Me" on F/X Network, "One Life to Live" on ABC, the upcoming pilot episode of Darren Star's "Cashmere Mafia" on ABC and the ESPN Film "Cinderella Man: The James J. Braddock Story". He has appeared in many independent films including the feature films "Killing Time" and "Economics 101" which premiered at the Sundance and New York Independent Film Festivals, respectively, and "You Are Alone", recently released on DVD. A former corporate attorney, he began his career slogging through the hallways of one of New York's venerable Wall Street firms where at least one senior partner advised him to start taking life more seriously.
100% of the ticket proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.
