Elaine Stritch

By Craig Thornton

I was lucky enough to see Elaine Stritch twice on stage.  Once in her one woman show "Elaine Stritch at Liberty" and also in the 1990's revival of A Delicate Balance.  Both times she was unforgettable.

There are a million stories about her on the web, and when you walk down the street in New York you feel like you may run into her.  She was New York, and like a true Star lived in a hotel with a staff.

The world is a duller place without her.

Here is her obit in Play Bill.
