Isaac Snell of Isaac Jude Pottery continues to teach beginning Wheel Thrown Pottery classes for community members this spring at SLC Arts.

These introduction level classes take students through all of the steps of throwing on a wheel including wedging and centering clay on the wheel, throwing, trimming, and attaching handles. The teacher glazes and fires several pieces of pottery per student which are ready to pick up a few weeks after classes finish. Visit for examples of Snell's pottery.

All three spring sessions will be held Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 pm:

March 5, 12, and 19;

March 26, April 2 and 9;

April 23, 30, and May 7.

Cost is $115, materials included, for any of the three class sessions. Anyone ages 14 through adult who has fewer than 20 hours of pottery experience is welcome to register. Classes meet at Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St, room 229.
