The Morristown Public Library to offer Summer Reading Programs for area youth
Area youthare encouraged to participate in “Dig into Reading,” the Morristown Public Library’s summer library program from July 9 to August 8. Children are invited to come to the Library and read for prizes as well as to take part in special events offered throughout the summer.
Each of five weekly sessions will feature a reading, a craft and a snack.  Age groups will be broken up and meet as follows:
*Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for children 0 – 6
*Thursday at 11:30 a.m. for children 7 – 11
Special events this summer will include a visit of four surprise animals from Thompson Park Zoo on Tuesday July 16th, a juggler who will certainly entertain the entire family on Saturday, August 3rd and a “magical” performance from the Syracuse Museum of Science and Technology Tuesday, August 6th.   Parents may register their children to attend these events by calling the library during regular business hours. A complete schedule of events is available on the library’s website.
Are you twelve or older? The library has designed a special program just for you! Find out all about it on facebook, the website or call the library today!
