“THE LITTLEST ELF is returning to the Playhouse”

SACKETS HARBOR---- The Lake Ontario Playhouse, 103 West Main Street, Sackets Harbor announces the return of “THE LITTLEST ELF,” a family holiday musical written, directed and revised by Michael Kinnie featuring original music as well as holiday classics.  Performances will be December 6-9: Thursday - Saturday @ 7:30 pm AND Saturday & Sunday @ 1 pm.

First presented at the Playhouse in 1995 and then again in 2002 and 2011, “THE LITTLEST ELF” has been revised for 2012.  The family holiday musical is the story of a “new recruit” who is trying to find a song to sing for the Christmas Eve celebration at Santa’s Workshop.   As everyone knows, the Elves put on a Christmas show for Santa just before his Christmas Eve journey every year to fatten up Santa’s magic.  Fun for the whole family, the musical is filled with traditional favorites such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Up on the House Top, Carol of the Bells and many more.  It also features a hilarious back and forth medley, arranged by musical director Ticia Marra, where Romeo and Juliet Elf sing Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer at the same time while arguing over which is the better Christmas song.  There is magic, singing, dancing and even a visit from Santa!

Tickets are $15 for Adults, $12 for Students, Military and Seniors; and $8 for Children under 12.  The Playhouse will also offer a Dinner/Theatre option and a snack menu.  Tickets can be obtained at the Lake Ontario Playhouse box office.  Seating for dinner theatre is at 6:15 pm or seating for just the show begins 45 minutes prior to show time.  Thursday – Saturday the show begins at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 1 pm.   For more information or to make reservations please contact the Lake Ontario Playhouse Box Office at (315) 646-2305 or check out the website at www.playhousecomedy.com.

11 Million People Cannot Be Wrong

COME JOIN OUR SISTERHOOD! This hilarious musical parody staged to classic tunes from the '60s, '70s and '80s will have you cheering and dancing in the aisles. See what millions of women worldwide have been laughing about for over 10 years!

Set in a department store, four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra on sale, come to find they have more to share than ever imagined. The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they realize that menopause is no longer The Silent Passage, but a stage in every woman’s life that is perfectly normal!

“Most women know intuitively that every other woman is experiencing hot flashes or night sweats,” says author Jeanie C. Linders. “There is always a close friend or two who can sympathize or identify, but when they are sitting in a theatre with hundreds of other women, all laughing and shouting ‘That’s me! That’s me on stage!' They know what they are experiencing is normal. They aren’t alone or crazy. It becomes a sisterhood.”

It's the Hilarious Celebration of Women and The Change!®
