Rebecca Yell and company will perform as Clayton Waterfront Park in the village pavilion at Frink Park.


Cape Vincent- A Day on the River

The Farmer’s and Crafter’s Market will open be open from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm with homemade, homegrown and handcrafted items for sale on the Village Green.
The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be giving free vessel safety checks near the village docks from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. They will also have a display of their services and general boating safety information on the Village Green.

The Cape Vincent Dive Club will be at the Cape Vincent Village Dock giving a demonstration on scuba diving and an explanation of the club’s activities.

Reptiles Forever owned and operated by Mary Benvenuto and her family will be present from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with an exhibit of large snakes, turtles, lizards and even huge insects. You will have the opportunity to hold the creatures and get up close and personal with them as well.

The NYS Zoo at Thompson Park will be on the Village Green with the “Zoo-Mobile” and an exhibit of native animals.

There will be a free train ride from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm aboard the Cape Vincent Express. The tractor drawn train car, sponsored by the French Festival Committee and the Cape Vincent Lions Club, will travel around the town for a scenic trip.

The Breakwater Gallery will be having an Art Show at the gallery on Club Street from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The gallery will be the sight of an exhibit by local artists entitled “Out of the Blue”.

Meadow Lawn Alpacas will be present with adorable Alpacas from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
The Cape Vincent Volunteer Fire Department will be on hand with their vehicles and equipment for the public to view.

The Cape Vincent Historical Museum on North James Street will be open to the public from 10:00 until 3:00 pm.

The Cape Vincent Arts Council is having children’s painting and display. There will be children’s games for prizes sponsored by the Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce
The Cape Vincent Community Library will have a children’s crafts table.

Miss French Festival 2012, Kyala Clegg, will be at the Chamber of Commerce booth visiting with the crowds and entertaining children with games and prizes.

A Concert on the Green featuring the performance of The 10th Mountain Division Army Band will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The concert is sponsored by the Cape Vincent Arts Council, Town and Village of Cape Vincent, Cape Vincent Chamber of Commerce and Citizen’s Bank of Cape Vincent and is free of charge. It is held on the Village Green. In the event of rain the concert will be held in the United Church on Broadway St.

The DEC Fisheries Station and Aquarium on East Broadway will be open to the public from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.

The Tibbett’s Point Lighthouse Historical Society will have the Visitor’s Center/Museum and Gift Shop open from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.
