Blake Shelton Country Music Association Entertainer of the year of star of the Voice is in concert tonight at the Fairgrounds, tickets still available. Gates open at 5pm concert starts at 7pm. Tickets still available.

 

22nd Annual Zwanzigstein Fest

The Zwanzigstein Fest is a festival that seeks to educate adults and children about the history of Lewis County Mennonites and farmers through games, demonstrations, and speakers.

When: Saturday July 7th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine

Where: Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Farm, located on the Erie Canal Road just outside of Croghan, NY

Cost: $4 for adults, $2 for children ages 4-12, children 3 and under free; Free parking.


Activities: Live animals, wagon rides, old-fashioned woodworking, guided tours, arts and crafts, stories of years gone by, silent auction, gift basket drawing, children’s games, home-cooked meal, grilled foods, baked goods, homemade ice cream, and much more.

On Sunday, July 8th, the Black River Valley Fiddlers’ Association will play a free concert of fiddle music for listening and round and square dancing, from 2-5 pm at the North American Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame and Museum at 1121 Comins Rd., Osceola, NY.  The concert is funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.

 

There will be a strawberry festival and classic car show at the NNY Agricultural Museum at Stone Mills, 30950 Route 180, LaFargeville, NY 13656 on Sunday., July 8th from 10:00 -5:00.

There will be music by local musicians, classic cars, vendors, food and strawberry shortcake.

Concert in Carthage

This Sat July 7th we wil have a great group they have been with us many times from the Pulaski area Lea Teachout and the Misfits.  The group consist of Lea and his Wife and Father in law . Once again the concert will be by the river in Carthage at the gazebo from 12:00-1:00pm they will be bringing a Electric Piano Upright bass, Violin, Rhythm Guitar

 

Great Event at Frederic Remington Museum

Round up your family and friends for a BBQ at the Frederic Remington Art Museum on Saturday, July 7 from 4 to 7 PM.

The Frederic Remington Family & Friends BBQ will be catered by Parker Piercey. Cost is $15 per person; $50 per family of four; and free for children under 10 yrs old. Each ticket purchase includes: meal by Parker Piercey of PCP-BBQ Catering, non-alcoholic beverage, dessert; Museum admission with a complimentary guided tour; name entered in a drawing for a custom framed Remington print – a $250 value; children(s) name entered to win a summer backpack package (Kid's Place backpack, Kid's Place t-shirt, activity book, puzzle, pencil, ruler); and 10% off merchandise in gift shop.

The Frederic Remington Art Museum is located at 303 Washington Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669. The Museum is dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, preserving and interpreting the art and archives of Frederic Remington, and contains an unmatched collection of his works. The Museum is open May 15 - October 15, Monday -Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm and October 16 – May 14, Wednesday -Saturday, 11 am to 5 pm and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm.
