Annual Strawberry Festival – Adams
Sponsored by the South Jefferson Historical society this yearly tasty event is a must for strawberry lovers!
The Deliciousness runs from 10:30 am to 4pm today, Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th.

In Clayton it is that time of year again: The Food and Wine Festival at Cerow Recreation Park.
There will be over 70 exhibitors, this includes 38 Wineries!
For those of us who are hungry (me: frequently) and thirsty (me: all the time), this annual show is the place to be in the 1,0000 Islands this weekend. Not only is it fun, but it is a great showplace for New York State products.

In Syracuse – A GREAT EVENT TONIGHT
Broadway actress and Syracuse University alumna Julia Murney will perform at Syracuse Stage’s 40th Anniversary Gala on Friday, June 14 in the Schine Student Center on the Syracuse University campus.
Murney’s credits include Elphaba in Wicked (Broadway and National Tour) and the original cast albums of The Wild Party and A Class Act. She has performed in venues all over the country including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the famed jazz club Birdland. Murney is a graduate of the Department of Drama in Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. Video of her work can be viewed here: http://juliamurney.com/video.
The Syracuse Stage Gala will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 14 with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, a concert performance by Julia Murney accompanied on piano, and a private reception with Murney for VIP guests. Tickets for just the concert portion (starting at 9:15 p.m.) are $30 for the general public and $25 for Syracuse Stage Subscribers, Syracuse Stage Flex Pack Holders, and those age 40 and under. All proceeds from the 2013 Gala will support artistic and educational programming at Syracuse Stage, Central New York’s premier professional theatre.
