'1812 Challenge' Registration Ends

Registration for the inaugural "18.12 Challenge and Half Marathon" ends this week.

The event is in September, but registration ends July 20.

Around 500 runners have already signed up, many of whom are from out of the area.

Runners have a choice between tackling 18.12 miles or 13.1 miles.

Packet pickup is September 1 and race day is September 2.

Both races start at IHC in Watertown and end at the 1812 Battlefield in Sackets Harbor.
