Ag Museum Invites Public To September Events


Some fun events are coming up at the Stone Mills Agricultural Museum.

The 9th Annual Harvest Festival & Pork Roast Dinner will be on Sunday, Sept. 15th.

Admission is free.  

Dinners will begin at noon and consist of roasted pork with corn, mashed potatoes, homemade dressing and gravy, squash, coleslaw, rolls and dessert.

Adults $9.00; seniors and children $7.00, children 5 and under are free

A scarecrow making contest begins at 1 p.m.

There will be a living scarecrow costume contest (all ages) at 1:30.

On September 22, the museum will hold a National Barrel Horse Association competition at 10 a.m.

Various barrel and pole bending events include youth class and senior class.

There are purses to win. Class events are open to the public to participate.

A $10 non-member fee may apply.
