American Legion Ride Benefits Urban Mission

The Black River American Legion Riders are holding a benefit ride for the Watertown Urban Mission.

The 120-mile ride will be June 7, rain or shine.

It starts at Caskinette's Throttle Shop in Carthage and ends at the Black River American Legion.

Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and kickstands go up at 11 a.m.

It costs $15 per bike to ride and another $5 for a passenger.

The event raised $6,500 for the Urban Mission last year.
