Arts Council Wants To Give Children 'Hands On' ExperienceThe North Country Arts Council wants to introduce children and their families to a broad spectrum of the arts. To do that, they've planned Hands on the Arts. The day will feature two workshops every hour, including card-making, cookie decorating, yoga and American sign language. There will also be hands-on demonstrations by the local troupe Fire Magick. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on February 19 at 52 Public Square in Watertown.
