Tools

The North Country Arts Council wants to introduce children and their families to a broad spectrum of the arts.

To do that, they've planned Hands on the Arts. The day will feature two workshops every hour, including card-making, cookie decorating, yoga and American sign language.

There will also be hands-on demonstrations by the local troupe Fire Magick.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on February 19 at 52 Public Square in Watertown.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5 per person.

For more information on the event, call 315-661-6361 or visit www.nnyart.org.
