'Bright Beginnings' Child Care ConferenceThe Community Action Planning Council of Jefferson County is holding its 21st annual Bright Beginnings childcare conference. It's a series of workshops for anyone who works in the childcare field. Workshop hours count toward the 20 hours providers need for certification. It will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. May 5 at the CAPC's offices at 518 Davidson Street in Watertown. The cost is $45 for Jefferson-Lewis Childcare Project members and $50 for nonmembers.
