Carthage Taxpayers Vote Wednesday On Capital ProjectCarthage Central School taxpayers will vote Wednesday on a $34.5 million capital improvement project. The project means a 1.37 percent increase in the tax levy and will costs each taxpayer $16 per $1,000 of taxed valuation per year. Voting is noon to 9 p.m. at the Carthage High School library.
