Cooperative Extension Holds Livestock WorkshopsCornell Cooperative Extension is holding a pair of workshops on the profitability of raising some farm animals. Michele and Steve Ledoux, each holding a chicken above, say raising animals can be profitable -- if you know what you're getting into ahead of time.
The first workshop, Know the Costs in Your Poultry, is from 6 to 8 p.m. March 20 at the Cooperative Extension office at 203 North Hamilton Street in Watertown
A similar workshop, for beef, sheep and goats, will be March 21 at the same time and place.
