Fat & Sassy Desserts: Pumpkin PieMaking Mary Damianenko's pumpin pie is as easy as, well, pie. Demianenko, of Adams, shares the third in a series of recipes she's showing us each week in February. She put together a cookbook of old recipes she updated, making substitutions for old-fashioned ingredients, such as lard. Some of the recipes date back to 1873. This week, it's pumpkin pie. Click on the picture to see how it goes together. The recipe is below. To order Mary's cookbook, contact the Historical Association of South Jefferson at 315-232-2616. The cookbooks are $10 apiece.
