Fitness: Don't Be Afraid Of Group ClassesThere's strength in numbers. Fitness expert Jamie Kalk says many people are anxious about taking group fitness classes. Some people are afraid of exercising in a group, but Kalk said those fears are unfounded. There's a lot of support in group classes, she says. Most classes are easy to follow and allow you to go at your own pace. Kalk is offering a class at the Watertown YMCA called 20-20-20. It offers 20 minutes of muscle conditioning, 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of stretching and pilates. Click on the picture for some examples. |
