Food Drive, BBQ & Car Wash To Benefit Urban Mission

Tools

There's a food drive and fundraiser to benefit the Watertown Urban Mission.

It will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. October 5 at 120 Breen Avenue.

Volunteers will be collecting the fixings for the Thanksgiving dinners the Urban Mission hands out to needy families every year.

People are asked to bring things like frozen turkeys, hams, large chickens, yams, potatoes, or any of the other fixings.

They'll also be collecting nonperishable food items for the Mission's food pantry.

There will also be a car wash and a cookout to raise money for the mission.

Volunteers will also be collecting children's winter clothing.
