Food Drives Help Fill Local Pantries

MGN Online / USDA

A pair of food drives will benefit north country food pantries.

The food drive is the public kickoff of the United Way's annual campaign.
The drives help food pantries restock their shelves after they were depleted over the summer.
The United Way will have its annual food drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. September 13 at St. Anthony's Church at the corner Arsenal Street and Bellew Avenue in Watertown.
Lewis County Opportunities will have a drive from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. September 14 at the Lewis County Fairgrounds in Lowville.
