Fundraiser Set For Memorial Scholarship At General BrownOrganizers of the Brittany Walroth Memorial Scholarship Fund at General Brown Central School are holding a fundraiser. The scholarship was set up in Walroth's memory to help students with learning disabilities attend college. Walroth died in a car crash in 2010. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded this year. The fundraiser will be from 2 to 6 p.m. June 16 at the Thousand Islands Winery and will feature a silent auction, music and food. Another highlight is a show of hot rods, motorcycles and classic cars. |
